AI for Wireless

Jointly Organised with the Wireless Community

AI is rapidly becoming a fundamental technology throughout the design, test and use of wireless technologies and systems.

AI helps engineers design and optimise antennas, RF circuits and communication protocols, analyse complex measurement data, automate network operations and turn complex radio signals into valuable information about the presence and behavior of people and objects in their environment.

Wireless systems are evolving from connected devices and networks into intelligent systems that can communicate, sense, learn and adapt.

This workshop explores leading developments at the intersection of AI and wireless technology. Expert presentations will examine the evolution from AI-assisted networks towards AI-native networks, from intelligent radio control to end-to-end network orchestration.

We will introduce wireless physical-layer foundation models, as well as agentic AI that enables wireless systems to reason, make decisions and adapt their behaviour.

The program also covers AI-based wireless sensing using technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and UWB.

Presentations will be complemented by technology demonstrations and excellent networking opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with experts and enthusiasts from academia, industry and the wider innovation ecosystem.

Imec’s Wireless Community is organising this workshop together with the AI Community of The Brain. By connecting the wireless and AI ecosystems, we aim to stimulate knowledge exchange and create new opportunities for interdisciplinary R&D collaboration between wireless and AI experts.

The workshop is open to everyone active in R&D and innovation in wireless or AI technology who wants to discover how AI is shaping the future of wireless communication and sensing.

For full program details and registrations, please refer to the Wireless Community site.

As the Wireless Community is a paying membership community, a small contribution will be asked from The Brain participants.
But rest assured: The Brain participants get a discount.
